Dr. Sherry Brown

Sherry A. Brown, PharmD, MBA, BCPS

Dr. Brown earned her PharmD from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. She completed her Pharmacy Practice residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina and then specialized in Critical Care Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Using teaching skills she developed during her residencies, Dr. Brown pursued a full-time faculty position as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Western University in Pomona, California where she practiced as a medical ICU Clinical Pharmacist at the UC Irvine Medical Center. She is actively involved in the Orange County chapter of CSHP, where she has served on the board of directors for the past four years and was honored as the OCSHP 2004-2005 Pharmacist of the Year. Having earned her Health Care Executive MBA from UC Irvine, Dr. Brown now serves as Clinical Professor, Voluntary at UC San Diego. She is currently employed full-time by The Medicines Company as a Medical Scientist-Global Scientific Affairs.
